How can something so good/great be so simple???
ReplyDeleteThis is one question that boggles many of our "modern minds". Oftentimes it also becomes the small thing that stop us from moving forward. Just like that little cockroach that stops us in our tracks and freezes our entire being.
The advance of our modern lifestyles has evolved through intricacies and complexities. This perception has taken deep root in our minds and has become our sense of reality.
We say that there is no free lunch.
We think that everything has to be achieved/ gained/earned the hard way... just like our salary, our rewards, our job promotion and to many, even our salvation.
We often forget to look at the other side.. where there are many good samaritans that simply give out of the goodness and kindness of the hearts. They just give and give and give... love, comfort, encouragement, a helping hand, advice,gifts, etc. without anything expected in return. All because there are some who simply love and simply care! Simplicity is always so beautiful and effective.
